Elie – Managing Director and Planning Consultant

Elie founded 4D Planning in 2010 after years of experience with award-winning architectural practices in London and the Middle East. He holds a BA (Hons) in Architecture and a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Westminster. Elie has also worked as a planner for Islington Council, gaining valuable experience in both the Local Authority and Private Sector.

4D Planning is an independent, multi-disciplinary chartered planning consultancy and architecture firm. We combine architectural expertise with town and urban planning knowledge.

Over the past decade, the firm has rapidly expanded, successfully completing hundreds of planning and architectural projects across the UK. Many of these projects are showcased on our website.

Elie’s expertise in architecture and planning, coupled with his dedication to achieving successful outcomes, has resulted in numerous repeat clients and recommendations. He leads a team of professional planning consultants and skilled architectural technicians, ensuring a swift, competitive service that delivers positive results.

James – Planning Consultant

James brings years of public sector experience as a Planning Officer. He has extensive knowledge in both residential and commercial sectors, offering detailed and trusted professional advice. Specializing in case law, James excels in preparing strong planning appeals. His track record includes successfully winning numerous appeals and preparing Planning Statements and Feasibility Reports for various projects across the UK.

Simon – Planning Consultant

Simon holds a BA (Hons) in Geography & Town Planning from the University of Liverpool and an MSc in Spatial Planning from University College London. With a solid academic background, Simon offers a wealth of planning knowledge and expertise.

Before joining 4D Planning, Simon worked as a planning consultant with a prominent UK firm. As a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI), he understands planning regulations and procedures thoroughly. Simon specializes in development management for both residential and commercial applications, providing expert planning advice, project management, and detailed planning statements. His proven track record ensures successful planning projects across the UK.

Mike – Planning Consultant & Transport Planner

Mike joined 4D Planning in 2016. He graduated with a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning, alongside Elie. Mike has extensive experience in the Transport Sector, advising clients and preparing Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Delivery and Servicing Management Plans, and Parking Surveys. He also assists with feasibility studies, planning statements, and application submissions.

Giacomo – Marketing and IT Director

Giacomo manages administration and IT for the firm. He oversees all marketing tasks, keeping our website and social media updated to benefit our clients and attract potential ones.

Samuel – Heritage and Conservation Consultant

Sam works part-time at 4D Planning, focusing on listed building consent applications. He prepares Heritage Reports and Historic Impact Assessments for listed buildings. Additionally, Sam is a part-time Heritage and Conservation Officer in a London borough, bringing valuable knowledge and expertise to our team.

Adrian – Architectural Technician & RIBA Associate Member

Adrian handles measured surveys for clients and produces architectural drawings in CAD, which are then sent to clients in PDF format for approval. Before joining 4D Planning in 2015, Adrian worked for several architectural practices in Romania. Based in London, he travels across the UK to meet clients at their properties.

Alberto – Architectural Technologist

Alberto advises clients on Building Control matters from our London office. He produces all relevant building regulations for projects and liaises with Building Control Inspectors to ensure approvals. Additionally, Alberto creates Tender Packs for builders to accurately price projects for our clients.

Beni – Architectural Technician

Beni has been with 4D Planning since 2011, working in our London office. He specializes in property surveying, CAD architectural drawings, and creating high-quality 3D renders for various projects.

Alvaro – Architectural Technician

Alvaro surveys properties and creates architectural drawings in CAD. His skills also include producing 3D renders and visuals of our projects, many of which are featured on our company website.

Fahad – Architectural Technician

Fahad is based in London and has experience surveying properties and producing architectural drawings in CAD.

Mohammed – Architectural Technician

Mohammed works as a CAD technician in our Manchester office. He surveys properties and produces architectural drawings in CAD.

Qasim – Architectural Technician & RIBA Associate Member

Qasim supports our team with his extensive experience in residential projects both in the UK and overseas. His focus is on producing professional architectural drawings following detailed property surveys.

Judith – Practice Manager

Judith has been with 4D Planning for eight years. She manages the firm’s overall operations, including administration, bookkeeping, human resources, and social media.

Leah – Personal Assistant to Managing Director

Leah joined 4D Planning in 2024. She handles administration and assists the Managing Director.
