4D Planning's Role
4D Planning were instructed by the youngest MP in parliament, the Labour MP for Nottingham, to prepare plans and obtain planning permission for the change of use of a retail premises into her constituance office. We measured up the property, produced the architectural drawings, liaised with the planning department and other stakeholders to achieve planning permission. Nottingham Council granted permission.

Installation of 2 x shopfront display signs over shop front and a rear extraction flue.
4D Planning's Role
4D Planning were instructed to assist the client with converting a vacant retail unit into a franchise restaurant. We established that the change of use from retail (A1 use class now known as use class E) to a restaurant (A3 use class now known as use class E) does not require planning permission as it falls within the same use class. We checked to make sure that the site constraints did not affect the usage. We then assisted with preparing a planning application for the external changes such as the new signage at the front and extraction flue. We obtained the acoustic report and liaised with the Council until a decision was made. Luton Council granted planning permission within 8 weeks of submission.

4D Planning's Role
4D Planning were instructed to assist the client with obtaining planning permission from Gravesham Council for a new porch extension with access ramp, display of advertising to dental practice and other associated works. We produced the application documents and coordinated the drawings, submission and liaison with the planning officers until a decison was made to grant planning consent.
